From Five Founders to Protagonists of National Energy Development
The story of Esinel Ingenieros began in 2006, when five professionals committed to creating high-standard engineering solutions from Santiago Centro. Their vision and dedication enabled them to overcome initial challenges, achieving their first major milestone: winning a project with Minera Collahuasi, an experience that laid the foundation for their future development.
Growth came quickly. By the end of 2007, just one year after its founding, the company had expanded its team from 5 to 37 employees, a direct reflection of client trust and service quality.
Consolidation and Large-Scale Projects
In 2010, after four years of successful operation, Esinel took a strategic step by relocating its offices to Providencia, symbolizing a new stage of consolidation aligned with market challenges.
The year 2012 marked an unprecedented milestone: the largest project developed to date, a two-year ITO contract with Collahuasi that simultaneously brought together over 100 people, making it the most significant both in financial terms and technical scope.
Contributing to the National Electrical System
Among the company’s most notable achievements is its participation in the country’s first high-voltage direct current (HVDC) mega transmission line. This project represented a key advancement in modernizing Chile’s electrical transmission system, increasing energy transport capacity and directly contributing to the country’s decarbonization process.
